it’s an 8.5m mobile climbing wall
it has 4 climbing faces allowing 4 simultaneous climbs - each climb is different and each one varies in difficulty from reasonably simple to a little tricky, especially if you have little or no climbing experience.
and how do I get down?
simple - let go!
at the top of each face is an ‘auto belay’ device feeding out steel cable which is attached to the climber’s harness - the device has an inertia brake which reacts to a pull (similar to a car seat belt) - the difference is that the belay doesn’t stop you completely but descends you to the ground in a controlled manner
